The first Trash The Dress winners, Amy & Nick, were having their shoot in Auckland, starting at the steps of Auckland Domain, and ending at the picturesque Mission Bay (amongst various other areas!)

Congratulations to the 3 winning couples of our Facebook 300 – Trash the Dress Competition! The winners are:

Thought we’d let you know a little about the Trash the Dress sessions that are on offer with our Fantastic facebook 300 competition.
There are three amazing sessions on offer, on session in Auckland, one at Raglan and the third at either Hunua Waterfalls, or Karangahake Gorge. Each session offers very ROMANTIC photos against very dramatic backgrounds. The emphasis on each location will be BEAUTIFUL and ROMANTIC photos that will bring tears to your eyes!!!
1. Auckland Trash the Dress – Mission Bay: The session will take in the beach, the park, possibly a coffee bar, the sun setting behind the harbour bridge, and if it can be timed for early evening, that gorgeous fountain all lit up. If you win this session and Auckland is a little far away for you, you may prefer the peacock fountain in Hamilton’s Boyes Park on Rostrevor St. Again, a great opportunity for coffee bars and some city sophistication before a dunking in the fountain!
2. Hunua Falls or Karangahake Gorge, whichever you prefer. Two beautiful places for some flowing water with gorgeous backdrops. You can take in the waterfall at Hunua with its pools, rocks, and bush, or start in a coffee bar along the Karangahake gorge, a little panning for gold maybe, tunnels, railways, whatever takes your fancy, before getting wet in the river!
3. Raglan: One gorgeous beach, a little sunset perhaps, some wild sand dunes, a sophisticated coffee bar, surf, reflections in the sand, who could ask for more?
See the entry below for competition details!
We had a pretty damn awesome time with Michelle and Brad on the weekend.. It was a warm sunny day, combined with a cool breeze and mixed with lovely people = a great wedding!

Wow!! What an amazing place Cheryl and Leighton’s wedding venue was. In the heart of the bush, with the pergola over their heads and surrounded by the tallest of trees. The day was perfect – warm, partly cloudy – a gentle, coming-into -Autumn sort of day, with the afternoon sun casting a warm light. Cheryl and Leighton were married by long-time family friend, John Kelso, and supported by a great bunch of friends and family, who were such fun too.

Pamela and Allan had an incredibly hot day at the Olde Creamery in Hamilton! The weather was 27 degrees, but combined with intense humidity, it was more around the 45 mark… still, nothing could get in the way of this wonderful day! Family and friends had come from all around the globe to help them celebrate their low key ceremony, which helped to make their day extra special
They’d already had their main ceremony at home overseas, but decided to also have a ceremony here for other family members!
They were such a lovely couple, and everyone was blinkin’ great – you’ve always got to love a bride that’s happy to do a jump shot with the kids!
Here’s a peek – more to come!

Rain did not dampen the spirits of Kristin and Trevor and their bridal party on Saturday as the aftermath of a downgraded cyclone passed over their wedding. Here’s a few sneak peeks … including the Bridal Helicopter! More to come!! (-;
