Here’s a few teasers from the recent wedding of Ngaro & Charlie… enjoy!

We entered the Kodak Gold awards in September – a nationwide competition which honours and promotes the importance and value of excellence in professional photography, so awards certainly aren’t the easiest to come by.
Imagine our delight (and joy!) when we were informed that we had won two Silver awards, and a rare Gold award, all in the individual portrait category – yay! It’s nice to know that you’re award winning
May there be plenty PLENTY more awards in the future to come.

Don’t forget to vote for your favourite baby in this year’s A & P Show competition. All proceeds to Plunket, a worthy cause and most of us have benefitted from Plunket’s help at some point. A big thanks to the parents and babies for entering. Photos and voting boxes are at Tokoroa New World just waiting for your vote!
We had the pleasure of shooting Nicki & Evan’s wedding in Long Bay over the weekend… and now the mad rush to get photos ready!
Here’s a few sneaky peeks of their wonderful day…
If anyone said that it would snow in Tokoroa, you’d think they were mad. Insane. A few pikelets short of a picnic.
Well… guess that throws that theory out the window!
We got to work this morning, and it was starting to spit a few snowflakes… it was nothing to really write home about at first. HOWEVER…. a few minutes later, it began to actually snow!!! IN TOKOROA!!!!! (cue mad rush for cameras, memory cards, lenses, posing amongst the snow flurry, excited people outside taking photos)
Enjoy the pics – lets hope for more snowy days!

Have you ever seen Bridge Street like this???
Countdown Tokoroa’s long awaited official opening took place following the blessing of the carving – an exciting moment for manager Mike Olsen and staff – and the cumulation of months of planning and hard work for all. Congratulations everyone!!!!

Sarah got ready for her wedding at her family home in Lichfield – a very glamourous bride in a stunning dress. It was a real pleasure to take the photos. Here’s the link:

Helen and Mike’s wedding gallery is now up for viewing. We’re still buzzing over their wedding day! Gorgeous photos too…….
The final shoot for the Trash the Dress Competition, with the wonderful Nadine and Julien, winners of the Raglan Ripper section. We started at the grand Raglan Harbour View Hotel – a fine venue (and we can heartily recommend lunch there, ha ha ha!)
See all the sneak peeks with the rest of this post

The first photo from Carolyn & Riki’s Trash the Dress session at Karangahake Gorge! Guys – we had a ball! Thank you for being such fun to work with today. That river had so much more water in it today, than on our pre-visit, and it wasn’t very warm – though the weather held up perfectly. I’m glad it wasn’t me going for a swim! Love the photos!
