Tuesday, November 30th, 2010We had a lovely day out in VERY sunny Matamata with Shannan & Anthony at the wonderful Longlands venue – it was really REALLY hot, and they were such a great couple to work with! Shannan was SO photogenic, and Anthony was the epitome of relaxed on their day – is NICE! (It’s a private joke!)

Tuesday, November 30th, 2010Wharewaka Point in Taupo was the scene for Cassidy & Karl’s lakeside wedding. The weather was perfect – some overhead cloud to filter the light, the joyful colours of the the bridesmaids dresses and those rich blue wedding shoes were a special touch! Thanks Cassidy and Karl, and all of your bridal group – you were all such fun to photograph!!
Selena and Darryn
Friday, November 26th, 2010Selena and Darryn were married in one of the gorgeous gardens of Lichfield, south of Putaruru. Selena’s sleek red wedding dress was perfectly contrasted against the colours of the garden and the sky. This day will truly be remembered for the warmth and happiness of the bride and groom, their families, and the wonderful support and friendship of their bridal party and guests.
Bobby-Lee and Barry’s Wedding at St Faith’s Church Rotorua
Monday, November 15th, 2010Bobby Lee and Barry had a gorgeous spring day for their wedding, and St Faith’s church looked wonderful offset against a blue sky. Kathleen & Brian
Monday, November 15th, 2010Kathleen and Brian flew home from Melbourne to be married in their family garden. The weather was perfect (hot!) and the happy couple had an awesome bridal party, three of whom had also flown over from Oz. We spent most of the formals time out on a farm at Atiamuri – totally gobsmacking views and lots of solar flare! Fun times – thank heaps to Kathleen and Brian and their bridal party for being so obliging! (-;

Anahera and Louix’s Rotorua wedding!
Friday, November 12th, 2010We had the pleasure of being at Anahera and Louix’s wedding in Rotorua, just past the beautiful St Faith’s Church, and the historic Tamatekapua Wharenui. With this area being a part of their family ancestry, it was a really nice touch, and a wonderful area – Te Papaiouru Marae being the family marae.
They were such a *smiley* couple… nothing could spoil their day, and everyone was SO unflappable! I think that if a tidal wave came over the lake, they would have shrugged and carried on through!
We began at the Ventura Suites in Rotorua, and then made our way down to the rear of the historic St Faith’s Church in Ohinemutu where they had their ceremony, followed by lots of family pics (and a few midgies!)..

Spring Wedding in Putaruru
Tuesday, October 26th, 2010Tash and Nathan’s wedding took place on the staircase of the Putaruru Hotel. The window behind them gave us lots of natural light to work! The guests had a brilliant view of the couple from the art deco foyer, with it’s dark wooden curves. Cool place for a ceremony!! The location photos were taken at the Putaruru Timber museum – always a favourite for it’s variety and all weather reliability. It looks great too!

Candy & Tony’s M&M extravaganza!

Melt in your mouth, but not in your hand.. Or at your wedding?
Candy (no puns intended) and Tony had their lovely wedding at the Olive Tree Cottage on a wonderful sunny day on the Tenth of October, 2010… (that’s 10/10/10 – cool, ay?) We had a great day shooting with these guys – their sense of humour was fantastic, to say the least! M&M’s were aplenty – it’s always great to see someone incorporate things that are symbolic (and that they love) in their weddings!
